Hi,

I wonder if your player is running really old firmware. The very first versions 
of the player firmware didn't work well with the Mac. With later versions, 
however, the few extra files a Mac puts on your cartridge will be ignored, and 
Cheryl is right - they don't take a lot of space.

To find out what firmware your player is running, remove the cartridge and 
press the Sleep button 10 times. It should be 2.1.7 or later. If it isn't, log 
into BARD and follow the "Latest DTBM firmware and installation instructions" 
link to update it.
