Hi,
If you mean you bought the Flex, you will need to either attach it to your
shoe or move the arm that you have the tracker on in order to record your
steps. Since I always hold on with both hands to the rails, I put it on my
shoe. If you have a pocket that goes down your leg some, you can also put
it in there to record steps.
It is very easy to set alarms. That is one of my favorite features.

So I took the plunge and bought the sleeping Tracker as I thought that would
be handy to use on the Treadmill rather than my Ipod Nano and Heart monitor
as the Battery has ran out of it. Just hope I can use it with the App and
that I can set the sleeping and waking Alarm!
