Traci, I'm sure you will get varying opinions on this but personally, I feel that AirPlay audio sounds quite a bit better than BT audio although it seems that BT 4.0 has had some improvement. Airplay also doesn't have the range limitation that Bluetooth does which is usually about 33 feet.
LHaving said that, I do have to admit that sometimes Airplay can suddenly just drop for me and I'm not sure why. I can simply turn Airplay back on and continue on but if in the middle of a movie or something it can be very frustrating if the player being used doesn't remember its place.
