I agree that things like the size are rumours. The ones I heard state that it might be likely we'll see a 128 Gb iPhone 6 but possibly only in the 5.5 inch size.
I think things like the screen size are by now pretty much confirmed since there are lots of leaked photos of what the new iPhone will look like. Other things like the A8 chip are maybe not confirmed but given. I think Apple would really get it if they released a new phone with the same chip they used a year ago. In this case I also feel a better camera is a given since once again they just can't put out a device for the third year with only 8 MP. I also think they would want to give developers the opportunity to take advantage of all the new iOS 8 improvements by adding a much better camera.
