I agree with Alex on that one. I heard about the guy who apparently pointed out on a picture of the board that there is a spot which is the size of some NFC chip, but Apple's apparent aversion to NFC makes me wonder. What does make sense to me is the argument that Apple might launch their own payment solution which might use iBeacons. Apple has the largest number of customers with credit cards on file from any company in the world and this would be a logical step for them and probably a cash cow.
