LOL! Yes, indeed! I do remember those! I used to love my bag phone, since it had a loud ring, which I could hear. Now, I wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole. wow, nostalgia. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cheryl Homiak" <cah4...@icloud.com>

Ironic isn't it! The way people's perceptions change about what they can and cannot, will and will not, accommodate! Does anybody besides me remember the days of the bag phone?

Certainly, size is something to be taken into consideration. But my experience is that people usually find a way to accommodate what they perceive as being important enough to have along with them. Who knows what will be put out to make it easier for one to carry a larger phone! I remember my school days of lugging around a typewriter, books, folders, etc. from class to class. From that point of reference, managing a bit larger phone is no big deal to me: a phone that substitutes for so many of the things i had to drag around all day. I'm not at all criticizing people who want to make their decision based on size; that's an individual choice. But I do have way too many serious issues in my life to deal with to spend much time worrying about the size of a phone. I'll take it or I'll leave it; I may express my opinion to Apple; ultimately I will express my opinion by what I buy or don't buy, and let others do the same.

What options do you have? If you plan to stay "In the Garden" of Apple's iOS, I don't forsee Apple offering various models of its Apple iPhone only being distinguished by its size alone. If you don't believe me, take a look at the "specs" for the upcoming Apple iPhones (Apple iPhone 6+ & Apple iPhone 6). I think Apple should offer iPhones like this to determine which "size" is most desirable rather than forcing people, who stay "in the Garden" of Apple to purchase these Larger iPhones (i.e., Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPhone 5C, Apple iPhone 5S, Apple iPhone 6, & Apple iPhone 6+). If this trend continues, expect the Apple iPhone 7 to be even Larger than these iPhones probably in the Next 2 Years as Next Year's Apple iPhone will be some variation of this Year's model (Apple iPhone 6+ & Apple iPhone 6+).

I am no so please with this last update, for me the iPhone 5s is already big, so an iPhone 6+ is too much. Really, it is not so nice for me, but I have no way to take a iPhone of that size in my pocket. I don't think that I will update
my phone. Sadly, iI don't like those huge sizes.\

The only reason I am even considering upgrading is that my wife cracked the
screen on her 5. I would probably only upgrade any of the 4's.

That's another good thing about Apple, their devices hold up Spec wise
and value.

I went from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5s. That was the difference
between night and day and made sense. Going from a 5s to a iPhone 6
probably won't make as much sense but as was already said, because you
want to and you can afford it also works!

At our house, it's my wife's turn to upgrade her old iPhone 4. She
says she likes her 4 just fine because all she uses it for is a phone.
Fancy that..... <grin> She says she likes her iPad Air much better
for all the rest of it. I was wrong again but that's nothing new!
<grin>

Hi Lori,

First of all, yes, any new iDevice will come with iOS 8 preinstalled
as of next Wednesday.

Will bugs disappear by January? Well, I sure hope so but of course
nobody can say for sure. I would say, however, that it is extremely
likely that the major bugs will be resolved by then. I really wouldn't
loose any sleep over that at this point. You also might want to ask
yourself whether upgrading from an iPhone 5 to the 6 or 6 Plus is
necessary for you. What problems do you have with your iPhone 5 which
require you to upgrade? If you just want to upgrade because you can
afford it and want the latest then that is of course a good enough
reason, but I think the next generation of the iPhone 6 whether it
will be called the 6S and 6S Plus or something else, will be much
improved as they will be the second generation of larger devices It
would be my guess that the touch screen might be completely made from
sapphire crystal and I really don't see how Apple will continue with
an 8 MP camera for the fifth year in a row, they will have to put in a
much better camera next year or people will get really upset. Anyhow,
these are just my thoughts. If I was still on a 4S I would totally
upgrade, no question. But with a 5 there wouldn't be quite as much
incentive for me.they might

Hi Sieghard,

So what your saying is ios 8 has major bug issues, am I right? If
that's the case,I can't even upgrade my iPhone 5 to a iPhone 6 or 6
plus until January 2015, when my 2 year contract with at&t is up.
Then I can upgrade to a iPhone 6 or 6 plus. Now do you think apple will
have the bugs in ios 8 fixed and resolved? Also, is ios 8 already
installed on the iphone 6 and 6 plus?

If the bug fixes are not fixed and resolved by Jannuary 2015, I will
not upgrade my iPhone 5 to either a iPhone 6 or 6 plus until ios 8 bug
issues are fixed and resolved and totally accessable to us blind
individuals .
Does this make senxe? Take care.
