Thanks Anna. I was successful but I'm still not seeing the U2 album listed
under the iTunes Store Purchased section. I had to go into my settings under
Store preferences within iTunes and tick the box Show iTunes in the Cloud
purchases. Then, when I displayed the U2 songs in my music library, the
tracks from the free Songs of Innocence album were listed with a cloud icon
next to them that could be clicked in order to download each track. I've now
got the songs on my computer but the only thing listed in iTunes under
Purchased are the one song and one video I've actually purchased using
iTunes.

Hi,

Open the iTunes store and choose the Purchased link. The album should be
listed with a download link. Choose that link, and you should be all set.
Sorry I can't be more specific, but I use a Mac, and exactly how you get to
the store depends on whether you have the Source list visible.

Best,
Anna

download it to my computer. The album shows as purchased from within iTunes
but doesn't offer any download links. Normally, a listing of tracks from
within the iTunes Store will have a link on the price that serves as a
launching point to both buy and download the song. I get most of my music
through Amazon so am not familiar with the ways of the iTunes Store but I'm
scratching my head trying to figure out how to download the U2 album. I
figure I might as well grab it since it's free.
