The uncompressed files allegedly take up almost 4.75 gig of space. That is
what Apple told me when I checked to see if the update had been made
available yet at my second break at work yesterday afternoon. So, on an 8
gig phone, you wouldn't have space for much of anything else. I don't have
enough space on my phone for it, without deleting stuff, even if I wanted to
upgrade right now.
