Downcast allows you to just flick down with one finger when you are on an episode, you will hear Delete and then you can just double tap. This is using the action rotor and works just like deleting an email message in your Inbox. If a single finger flick down doesn't put you on Delete then your rotor is most likely turned to something other than Actions, just turn the rotor to that option and it should work.
