It's a more (hopefully) duirable solution than turning VO volume down in
the Rotor. If you're listening intently to something, and then Voiceover
comes crashing in with some Notification Alert, you might not appreciate
the unwanted message taking over your primary listening experience. . It
also takes a few seconds (in iOS7) for the volume to revert to its
former setting, when VO stops speaking.
