My non-Voiceover using wife on an iPhone 5C asked me today if Airplay had been removed. I don't know which apps she was using, but I am sure ones she had used with Airplay before, but she said it was not there.

I have the iPhone 5S with iOS 8 and Alex as the default voice. I had music playing over my stereo via airplay. I decided to plug in my ear buds to check Email without disturbing my wife. Of course, the sound immediately went to the ear buds and I had to reselect the airport express. At that point, three times now doing those same steps, the next time I touch the screen the voice sounds like a chipmunk on an awful lot of speed, or Alex after he inhaled a lot of helium combined with meth. It is completely unintelligible. I can't stop it until I unplug the ear buds again. At that point, Alex is back to his old self. Any other airplay users out there to see if this can be duplicated?
