Hello Sieghard,
I'm going to look at an a iPhone 6 tomorrow and will play with VO and see how 
things work on a factory new phone.
So, here's the other thing. This evening my wife was using the phone. She 
doesn't need to use VO. Suddenly, VO started up without being asked to do so. I 
asked her if she was pressing the home button and she said not at that time. 
Strange.
