Thanks so much! I had powered off and on the iPad with no result but I would never have thought about just shutting down and restarting Voiceover with the tripple click shortcut. It worked a treat! Gosh, I wish there would be a tooltip making this clear to whoever downloads Alex. <smile> Thanks again.
