if a moderator could contact me and assist with this I would appreciate it.

That doesn't appear to address 'going nomail'.

If the user has a Googlegroups account, they could change their
preferences that way, including unchecking the checkbox for individual
email so that mail will be on the Web only. If they don't have such an
account, then if they still wish to remain subscribed i.e. resume
receiving individidual emails after the time away, then it's up to a
group manager/owner to set things up for them thus.

Here's something I posted to the list a week or so ago. The only thing
you need to change is to select the don't send email updates option.

I'm not sure what you've tried or what operating system/browser you're
using, but you can go to the link at the bottom of every message to this
list, namely

Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/viphone

Now pull down the menu under My Settings and select the first option in
that list, i.e. Membership and Email Settings. Now about three tabs into
this dialog, you'll see a list of options, and you want to change this
from either send me a daily summary or send me combined updates to send
me an email for every update.

Hit the save button and you should be done.

I just tried this with Orca and Firefox and it worked. Things may work a
bit differently with your browser and screen reader. Just ask if you
have any questions. This question comes up on the list every few weeks,
so you can also look through the archives for messages from Sieghard for
a better explanation or one using your browser/screen reader
combination.
