Only being a few address is normal for any GPS. They range from being as far off as from 15 to 50 feet. The average inaccuracy is about 15 to 30 feet. So, what you're experiencing is perfectly normal. The weather and surroundings can affect the accuracy. You should never rely solely on any GPS for mobility, although it is a great tool as an addition to your own mobility skills. On a regular basis, I use Navigon, or the Seeing Eye app, and am starting to use the Maps app that is built into the iPhone 5.

I’ve been playing around with maps an noticed my location is always slightly off where I really am. At home maps has me in the address next door for instance. This isn’t even consistent as once, maps had me several addresses down the street. I have tried a couple of other locations too & maps is always slightly off. Is this normal? And if one were to use maps to get anywhere, would you end up a door or two down from where you really wanted to go? At this point, I would not have any confidence in using maps. Do others use it or does everyone just get one of the better gps apps? Thanks. Regards, Sherry Wells -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
