You know consumer reports just did a bench test on this claim and the 6+ had to have 90 lbs of pressure before bending and 130 before screen separated from the aluminum. Whereas the HTC bent at 70 lbs of pressure and came apart at 90. So, it seems to have been a hype about nothing.

A memory from my early days working at a Conservatoire, that's a specialist
music institution; an American girl had come over with her little violin in
it's special hard flight case. The instrument was over $35k valuation, so
the special hard flight case was a little over $3k to protect it.
That was a privatei nstrument, her dad boughti t I suppose. the instituion
bought grand pianos: Yamaha around £90k, so more in $$$s. The steinways
were over £120k, enough to buy a small house in the provinces.

I was just the computer fixer, for which they resented spending £200 each on
them. It is also a hwile ago now, around the year 2k++.

Hi Rob. When I looked online it looks like the prices keep going up
each year. The Defender series cases were between $50 and $60, which
seems to be the top of the line Otterbox cases. I've used Otterbox for
the last few years, but I am going to see if there are similar
Otterbox cases with screen protectors which are not quite as much.

i'll be interested to know how much the Otterbox case is out there at, for
the 6 and 6+.

But yes, I was on the BBC news and they were running it, had pictures too,
so it is not without basis.

When I get mine, I am getting an Otterbox for it also. I carry mine
inside
a pocket and clip it to the pocket about 98% of the time, want to continue
doing that so I will go for the 6 rather than the plus, would live the
better battery life but the size may not work with me.

                                                Hi,

I don't want to be alarmist, but last night a reputable local newscast in
Minneapolis reported that some customers with new iPhone 6 (they didn't
specify 6 or 6+ or both) have found the new iPhone bending after carrying
them around in their front shirt pockets.

That's all I know. Hope it's nothing. Keep your ears to the ground.
