Hi Tom, You do perform a 1-finger double tap twice on the same Confirm Clear Section button, right? Doing it once doesn't do it, you have to do it once and then again. As for split tap, no problem here, I can put my finger on an app and tap the screen with a second finger and the app opens up. No, there is no setting regarding the split tap. Have you tried to reboot your phone?

I don't use the split tap very much. I did put my finger on the confirm button and touched on the screen with another. I assume this is the right jesture for split tap. Still no go. I can delete individually. Just wondering why, for me, the use of the confirm button no longer works since IOS 8. One more thing, if described above is the correct way to use split finger jesture, it doesn't work for anything. Tried to open other apps using that jesture and nothing. Do you think something in settings could account for these results? -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel Sent: Monday, September 29, 2014 7:05 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Notification center, anyone having this problem? Tom, Are you maybe not doing a perfect double tap but maybe you move your finger a bit and it registers as a swipe? Also, are you swiping to the Confirm Clear section button or do you find it by exploring the screen? I just tried it by exploring the screen and it's awefully hard to find. When I finally did find it I left my finger there and did a split tap and then still without moving my finger did another split tap and that also got rid of the notifications, but for me swiping to it and then doing a fast one-finger triple tap seems to be the most efficient way. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Tom Rash Sent: Monday, September 29, 2014 6:37 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Notification center, anyone having this problem? Must be a bug on my end. Just wondering if it's my particular situation or is anyone else having this problem. I see confirm section. I double tap and it keeps coming back to confirm section. I tripple tap and the same thing. After doing double or tripple tap I do hear a click, and then a second click, but confirm section is still there. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel Sent: Sunday, September 28, 2014 10:15 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Notification center, anyone having this problem? Hi Tom, As Jonathan pointed out, it used to say "Clear Section" and you double tapped and then you got "Confirm Clear Section" and you had to double tap again. Now it just says "Confirm Clear Section" and you double tap then make sure you double tap again on the Confirm Clear Section for the same notification of course and it should work. What I mean is that if you double tap Confirm Clear Section for Messages and then you double tap a second time but you are actually tapping on Confirm Clear Section for Mail then of course it won't work. For me at least a fast one-finger triple tap also works 100%, but double tapping and double tapping again also works. Maybe others can try this and post feedback to see if it seems to work for everybody or not. Clear section. I get the confirm clear section, but double tapping does not work. It was mentioned here to double tap again or tripple tap. Still nothing. It was mentioned here It was a labelling problem, but I cannot confirm clear section.
