The TriTone in iTunes is all you get, it indicates when a task has finished,
e.g. sync has finished, backup has finished, a download is done etc. If you
want to double check you can always go to your device and tab until you find
where it tells you when the last backup was done (or backups if you also
backup to iCloud). Here it will say when the last iCloud backup was done and
also the last backup with iTunes.

Hi Christopher,

I am using NVDA also. I did the same thing you did until I found that
status field also.

the problem is that the progress indicated that it had gotten to 90% and
then nothing. I did finally hear a 2 tone sound and the progress bar went
away but that was all.

I am just hoping for more certain confirmation than this of its completion.

Thanks.

What screen reader are you using?

I'm using NVDA,and I just tab around a bit and eventually I end up in a
text box that updates me with the progress. Sorry, but I'm doing this
from memory right now, but tabbing around usually gets me the
information I'm looking for in iTunes, at least with NVDA.
