Hi Clarence, I have this problem all the time, at least once a week. Not only is SIRI effected, but so is Facetime, and messaging. If you ask SIRI a valid question, or issue it a command, it acts extremely disoriented. Here is the work around that I am using.
I use an Iphone 5 running IOS 8.0.2 Hold down your screen lock for about four seconds, or until you hear voice over asking if you want to Power Off, or Cancel. Choose Power Off, and wait for about 5 minutes before bringing your power off stateback on. This seems to restore SIRI brains back, and Facetime, and Messaging begin to work correctly. All the best.
