My 4S is running IOS 7.1.2. I hadn't played with voice memos until last
night. I thought I might use it to record something in church, using my
blue tooth ear piece to listen to the voice over prompts. However, each
time I attempted to load voice memos, my ear piece would say "call
disconnected." Is this normal in this situation?
Also, I attempted to determine a Siri prompt which would commence
recording a voice memo. No luck. Although I cannot remember the Siri
response verbatim, the net result was that I was offered the option for
several programs including Vonage, but no option to record a voice memo.
Can this be done with Siri; and if so, how?
My last question for today is simply to inquire whether there is a more
desirable, relatively inexpensive program for this purpose. I remember
a couple months ago seeing a suggestion on this list of a program which
allowed the user to record either in mp3 format or in wav format but
cannot remember the name of the program. I do hope to find a program
which can be easily started and stopped. The ability to append to a
previous recording is desirable but not essential for my purposes.
