Yet again an iOS device has frozen on me - my iPad this time. I tried plugging it into my pc to restore the iPad via iTunes but discovered that iTunes would not allow this because Find My Phone was turned on. I solved the problem by remembering how to do a hard reset. But this incident made me even more puzzled about why we cannot restore our iPhone or iPad when connected to a trusted pc and having entered the Apple ID password! How is this a threat to Find My Phone? Do others on this list also turn off this feature in case they may need to restore a non functioning iphone? Harry
