Is there a specific adaptor that works best? Do you use it for tuning? I
tried one last year with the Square credit card reader, and couldn't make it
work. Wonder if there are any tuning apps that would work with VO and the
clip on pickup.
The tuning clip that is recommended for working with the iPhone is the
Peterson tuning clip. Guess I need to find some contact info for Talking
Tuner, and see what they have to say.

Its possible, I use a adaptor which lets me plug-in a guitar and headphones.
However, TalkingTuner doesn't use the external input, it always uses the
built-in mic. So an update to TalkingTuner would be required.
