Hi Tom, I really think you must be the only person who has that issue. For me and I believe I have not seen a single message when this thread was discussed before, notifications can be cleared either by double tapping the "Confirm Clear Section" button and then double tapping it again or I can do a single, quick triple tap with one finger on that button.
It would be good to hear from others again if anybody else can't clear an entire section, e.g. mail, messages etc. this way.
