There's a good idea, but have to say, I find those outer cases so slick as
to represent a greater risk of dropping than any other case used so far.
Ditto the curvature of their form coupled with the slick pollish of them
means they skitter about all over a table at the least provokation if
feeling around for it. The Otterbox and Griffins used thus far have enough
rubber onn, that I always lay them face down, quite safely, and they're
solid and never move about. This also applies to users who put their phone
above the dashboardof a car, which is weaving through traffic at a good
clip. The rubber ones don't and won't slide back and fro for anything.

Besides, it is the rubber that gives some bounce, it will also hold the hard
shell together around the phone if that did crack up, or seams burst open.

Does anyone know if Mophie has come out with a juice pack for the iPhone 6?

I myself wouldn't mind trying a different brand. I've always used the
Defender cases and some have been better than others. Someone earlier
mentioned Griffin Survivor; can someone who has one talk about it and
how it compares to the Defender cases?
