Hello Cheryl: Lyft automatically locate the precise address in which you are located. I have not yet tried changing the address of a pick up location, as it has always located me exactly where I need to be picked up from. You can enter a destination before requesting a pick up. But be careful not to request a pick up, as it doesn't confirm once you press the button. I had a pick up request by accident, and was charged five dollars because I didn't
