I have had VO crash frequently, particularly on the App Store page, but with 8.1 very much less; but it still crashes when I'm not expecting it and I haven't pinned down a particular app.
Hope this helps. I have reported this to the Accessibility Team but did not hear anything by return, so have to presume they're working on it! <Smiles> Carol P ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Turner To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Saturday, November 01, 2014 5:20 PM Subject: RE: voice Over crash? That kind of VoiceOver disappearing act has been showing up in iOS 8. I have not had it last so long as 15 minutes, but certainly 2 or 3. No knowing what causes it. Not sure what just happened! VO crashed I think. I could go nowhere and do nothing. Had volume up and mute off, no sounds or voice at all. Thought a trip to Sprint was in my future. Plugged in to make certain the phone was fully charged, asked a couple of times for Siri to turn off and on VO, nothing. Went to take my dogs out when suddenly VO was back! Hmmm! It was about 15 minutes before it came backe. Phone seems to be fine. Running 8.1. It is an iPhone 6. Anyone had this happen? What did I do to crash it? Was going to change to another app. Curious and eager not to do and go through this again. Thanks. reggie and Allegra -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
