You're welcome. I felt a mini briefly Christmas last year and that did
it for me. Didn't need to hold it or anything but to each their own.

Thanks so much for your thoughts Christopher as they are helpful. Not sure if I
am going to make the dive as I want to hold them to see if I will like them
more than the original iPad. I use my iPhone 5S for everything so am thinking I
might really enjoy the mini and if I do like the size will probably go with
last years model which I never do with technology but considering to my
knowledge the only thing new on this year’s mini is touch ID no need to pay the
extra just for that although I am not sure if they offer last year’s mini in
64GB which is what I would want so have to see. Thanks again.

I have the iPad Mini 2 which I'm writing this on. Sound quality far exceeds my
expectations compared to my iPhone which is a 4s. The same goes for battery
life, however since I use the iPad Mini 2 nearly full time I only get 3-4 days
compared to when I first had it;: at least two weeks. But that was due to
limited use and has nothing to do with the iPad Mini 2 itself. But hey, not bad
compared to a Windows laptop which sucks anyway. I also have a Macbook Pro,
late 2011 model and battery life even today is pretty good. Anyway I realize
I'm waffling on a bit so will get off my soapbox. Good luck in whatever you
decide to get if you get one at all.

I am going to be checking out the iPad, not sure if it is for me, but had a
couple of questions that I doubt I will be able to know from being in the
store. I have only had the first generation iPad and I hated it as I felt it
was to bulky and since I have no usable vision the screen being the size it was
did nothing for me. I am going to check out the newest iPads as well as the
iPad mini from last year as if the mini is for me paying for touch ID does not
really do much for me. The most important things to me being a 3GS, 4S, and now
5S user is sound on the iPad. does anyone know how the quality of sound and how
loud it goes compares on the mini and new iPad 2? I have plenty of bluetooth
speakers but also want great sound from the iPad and am not sure if there are
better sound chips in this year’s model, or speakers built in internally.
Also does anyone know if the mini has better battery life than the iPad 2 that
just came out? My main concern is I never lock the screen on my iPhone so I
have to charge it multiple times a day. I probably would lock the screen on the
iPad, so this might not matter, as I recall the battery life on my first gen
iPad was fantastic.
Thanks,
