I have the 6 plus 16GB, and I have no problem
holding the phone in one hand and using the touch screen with the
other. Also, from what I've heard, the battery life is better on
the 6 plus.
That being said, and having never seen the 6, I'm still toying
with the idea of taking a look at the 6 at some point. For, the
6 plus does seem to be a bit wide for me on some occasions. As
stated before, I'm able to hold the phone in one hand and use the
on screen keyboard without a problem, pretty much the same as
with my 4S. However, what I'm not able to do, is use some of the
Braille keyboards, such as mBraille, as I did with the 4S.
Wanting privacy when at work and on the bus, I would hold the
phone with the speaker against my right ear, and then the home
button of course on the right and facing towards my body, and I
was then able to place my fingers such that I could type my text
messages and the like. But, this just doesn't work for me at all
with the 6 plus, as I just can't seem to get the placement right,
especially for letters requiring more than one or two dots. Hope
this makes sense.

I love the 6+ myself but it would be a dull world if everybody
liked the same things. I like the feel of it and the screen size
but I know a lot of people feel it's too big.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper
thrown in the trash!
Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!
And now, every day:
"This I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."

I've looked at and played a little with both and, for me, the
most important thing is what is comfortable, of course! I would
definitely not go for the 6plus as this is too large for me.
It's a little large for my hands to hold comfortably but, more
important, it's the larger screen which my brain finds more
difficult in the interaction as a totally blind person. I owned
an IPad for some time and went back to it time and again, trying
to get more comfortable, but in the end I sold it because I just
found it too large for my needs, and I think this was the visual
concept rather than it being too large for sitting around and
writing.
Hope that might help a bit. Sorry it's rather late and not too
well written.

Subject: iPhone 6 or 6 plus?
Hello All,
I've just rejoined this list as I am looking at a new iPhone.
I've tried looking through the archives trying to establish what
subscribers felt about the 2 new phones?
I see there are concerns about 128 Gig version of the Plus. The
IOS-Today podcast suggests, as a generalisation. That women are
more comfortable with the 6 and the Plus is a little big. But I
wondered if this was because of the way in which sighted people
interact with their phones? Someone with smaller fingers will
struggle to reach from top to bottom while keeping their palm
gripping the side of the phone?
I like the idea of the Plus as the image stabilisation might
help barcode and OCR scanning. Do 6 Plus users see an
improvement in scanning barcodes and OCR activities?
But what have female iPhone 6 Plus users felt about using a
larger phone?
I look forward to learning of personal experiences of women with
iPhone 6 & 6 Plus models with gratitude.
Thanks.
