Well, by chance, I just loaded Spotify on my newish 2nd hand 5S last night and was playing with it. Can't compair it to anything, because I've not had anything, beyond Ootunes maybe, but that is more a streamed radio app.
Spotify is streamed music, big collection; free enough if you can tolerate a few ads like you get on commercial radio. I think you can select some favourite stuff and then form your own radio type stream so that it keeps it playing, punctuated with ads, but all your own favourite music, so can listen while you do other things. A paid premium service means you can get rid of the ads and maybe even get to keep your best selections of music on your device to listen to at will without streaming. But at £12.99 a month, it's not for me. The range is wide, I searched for and found some Joropo, bunchof artists and albums, so kept me jigging about a bit last night. Very good music toy to play and fiddle with and accessible enough to do so without too much frustration, so far at least, I've not had it long enough to do more than prove it worked.
