Photos, music, and books are what take up space. If you do not have a lot of any of those, 128 doesn't give you anything except a higher price. I have a 32 GB iPhone 5, and am not anywhere near close to filling it. For the vast majority of folks, I think that 64 GB is more than adequate.

Subject: Seeking iPhone 6 Perspectives - 64GB or 128GB

OK Gang;

I'm debating whether to upgrade to a 64GB or 128GB iPhone 6; I am totally
blind so most likely will not be loading many photos on this new device (I
now have 5 still pictures on my iPhone 5). I cannot justify going with the
iPhone 6+ given that the only real advantage over the "6" for me would be
the longer battery life, but whether to go with the 64 or 128 GB iPhone 6 is
an unresolved question in my mind. Usually, I don't have much trouble
making such decisions, but if there isn't any solid benefit to spending the
extra $100 on 128GB then I believe the 64GB would be plenty (my current
iPhone 5 has 32GB).

BTW: 16GB is out of the question -- my iPhone 5 with 32GB is at near 17GB
free memory now as it is and with additional features available with the
iPhone 6 I can't imagine having a very responsive device at 16GB.
