Michael,
You don’t need iTunes to buy or update apps or to delete them and redownload them. Any app you purchased once is yours, Apple has a record of what you bought as long as you are not using a different Apple Id since all purchases are tied to your Apple Id. As Feliciano pointed out, just double tap and hold on the app, then double tap again and it should prompt you whether you want to delete the app. Confirm that, then press the home key to get out of moving/deleting mode and go to the App Store on your phone, double tap the “Search” tab which is second from the right at the buttom, then double tap on the search field at the top left and type in “Money Reader”, then double tap on the Search button at the bottom right of the on-screen keyboard. Once you find it you will see that the button which normally says “Free” or gives the cost for the app just says “Download”. Any time you come to an app which you once purchased the button will just say Download and you can go ahead and tap it, it won’t even ask for your Apple Id password since you had already bought the app previously and it’s connected to your Apple Id. When you then first open Money Reader you get the warning that it should not be used to identify counterfit currency. Then you will most likely be asked to allow access to the camera which is important and then hopefully it will work fine for you as it seems to do for everybody else now. When I lonch it it takes me completely out of the screen and puts the focus on the next ap over. For me, it is facetime. Do you think it makes a difference, the first time I bought the ap I installed it using iTunes. That shouldn't matter should it? I tried deleting the ap and reinstalling it but still no go -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. All new members to the this list are moderated by default.
