Hello, I have it running on my for S and it Scans pretty well.if I try and edit the document I may have problems but this is true right across-the-board when I'm using my Bluetooth keyboard and the latest iOS 8 11.all in all I would go for it because you would have it for the future as well but it will work now on your for S assuming you don't have some strange app configurations which changes things but nobody can know about that kind of thing…hope this helps, Sandy
