Hi Matthew,

You have to be careful if you sync an iOS device with your library to put music
on it. If said device has been synced with another library, then all that music
will be gone and only your music will be on it. It is much better to give the
other person the music on a USB stick so they can copy it into their itunes
Media folder and add it to their own library and then they can select how they
want to sync it.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Re: an iTunes and Apple ID question.

I can be more specific. I would want to put music from my personal cd
collection onto another device, music that wasn't bought through iTunes. If I
use iTunes to transfer this music to the new device, will it show up in another
iTunes library on someone elses computer or phone, or is personal music
computer-specific?
Matthew
