Hi Matthew, You have to be careful if you sync an iOS device with your library to put music on it. If said device has been synced with another library, then all that music will be gone and only your music will be on it. It is much better to give the other person the music on a USB stick so they can copy it into their itunes Media folder and add it to their own library and then they can select how they want to sync it.
