I read through in the Dresner book all the available controls on the blue
tooth and it was overwhelming reading about them for the first time. I just
reread your post and see it has actual physical buttons on it - wonder how
I overlooked that little but critical detail. I think I'll have someone show
me one. My guess is that I'll try to economize on things I'll want to carry
like a single I Phone, but if I find something easy to use and that saves me
frustration, and it's small, I'll go with that. Thanks.

If you want portability but need physical buttons, a Rivo might help. It's a
tiny bluetooth controller that can simulate a keyboard, but also offers
one-button access to the rotor, move left/right, play/pause media, volume,
double tapping, and more. It's about the size of a credit card, but half an
inch or so thick. It's expensive, but might be worth it for you.
