Thanks for the interesting link. 
Unfortunately I had not backed up this new phone so could not follow the 
instructions. I am backing up to iCloud as I write this. Have already backed up 
to the Mac.
Part of the article says you may see text messages in iCloud. I don’t see that. 
How can I select text messages for future use?
