In an earlier post someone said they use to be able to do certain things after jail breaking their phone but it changed with one of the updates from apple. My question is after jail breaking as new updates are released will you have to repeat the jail breaking process over again?

I jail break to have integration of my google voice number built in to the messaging and phone apps. Meaning I don’t need a 3rd party app to text and make phone calls, with my google voice number, these 2 tweaks are built in when jail breaking and getting these tweaks setup properly. I also use it to have toggles built in to my volume keys to skip back and forth threw music. You can also use it to get free ring tones, and wall papers, and other cool things that apple doesn’t let you do. It’s all about personal preference.
