Hello Sonos owners,

Just wanted to let you know that while Tidal is not officially supported by
Sonos, you can add the service to your Sonos system via the Beta/Sonos Labs
feature. Here is what you do:

1. Go to www.TidalHiFi.com <http://www.TidalHiFi.com> and sign up for
an account if you don't already have one

2. Open the Sonos app on your iphone and go to the music menu, then
Settings, then My Services

3. You will see a list of the services you have setup with the
title/heading of "in Use". Double tap on "In Use" and then flick right to
the "beta" option.

4. Do a 3-finger swipe up until you get to the end of the listing of
services, it's in alphabetical order so Tidal is towards the end.

5. Double tap on Tidal, then on Add Account, say you already have an
account and then enter your login email address and password.

I have just set it up and I'm about 5 songs into an album I added to the My
Music section, the Tidal implementation seems to be very nice on Sonos and
while the first song skipped to the next after a few seconds, it's been
playing solid and without skips and drop-outs ever since.

I just got off the phone with Sonos support to try and figure out why my
Deezer account/subscription constantly skips after playing half the song.
The tech support guy I talked to was as friendly and helpful as always with
Sonos support. I submitted a couple of diagnostics and he said he is going
to escalate this to the next level since he doesn't see much in the
diagnostic reports which would indicate why it's doing this. For now I'm
happy that Tidal seems to be working well and it just may become the music
subscription of my choice.

Regards,

Sieghard
