I agree, only dropout I have had was on the way from Scottsdale to Laughlin in
the mountains for about 30 minutes, in Laughlin or Las Vegas even in Reno my
Verizon phones have had great connections.

I don’t travel that far these days but even in Florence, Arizona where my
cousin lives I have great service. Better than her Droid phone has she cuts
out a lot, I never seem to have that problem and she is on Verizon also.

I've always gotten good reliable service, and they have the best coverage in
this area. No dropped calls or dropping of signals. Plus, I did not have the
money to buy a phone outright, so paying so much a month was the way for me to
go. I think that I get what I pay for.

$90 a month with 2 Gig of data is also a rip-off. You can get the same from
most MVNO’s for half that. Of course you would have to bring your own unlocked
phone to the table, but consider saving $40 a months over a 24 months contract
period, that is $960. Now add the at least $200 you paid if you bought the
newest iPhone at the time in its least expensive configuration (you may have
paid $299 or $399 and you end up paying $1,160, $1,260 or $1,360 where you
could have bought your phone outright for $750, $850 or $950 depnding on the
model.

$90 a month for 1 phone. 2 gigs of data per month, which is OK because most of
what I do can be done through my home WiFi router.

And what are you perm paying for your Verizon service if you don't mind me
asking? Because my and my brother are paying for two phones for $212 on the
next plan and are having a wonderful Exxon service with AT&T.

AT&T has really dropped the ball on this iPhone release. I ordered my phone
the day of launch, since they didn’t have any in a store. When it was time for
my phone to ship, they sent me an email saying my order had been canceled for 1
of the following reasons. Incorrect billing address, debit card funds not
available, and the most BS 1 was item no longer available. So I calmly called
customer care, they told me to go in to the store and they could fix this issue
and get my phone on schedule. The store proceeded to tell me it wasn’t there
fault. Needless to say I lost my temper, told them to fix it or I was going
across the street to the other T. Long story short, customer care fix the
issue, I got my phone that Friday, stayed with AT&T, and all is well.
Apparently the computer couldn’t handle the amount of orders for that time
line, so it generated that email so it wouldn’t have to explain why some
couldn’t get there phone.

First, for any of you following my adventure with the AT&T Next plan, you might
remember that I tried to pay off that plan with the My AT&T app; and, while the
app did offer me the opportunity to pay off the installment plan, in the end,
it credited the payment to my combined billing regular phone bill. I then
called AT&T twice, and they said they would fix; but, if it didn't go through
for some reason, I could call back for a refund within seventy-two hours.
Needless to say, when I got my phone bill for the second time with the Next
plan still in place; I did call back for the refund; and, surprisingly, it did
indeed get credited to my card within the 72 hours. Both AT&T agents told me I
could go to an AT&T store, where they could actually get the paying off of the
plan to work; but, what with Christmas and all, I'll likely just hold off a bit.

Second, in one of my messages regarding my 6 plus, I mentioned wanting to get a
case with a built-in screen protector. And, I finally settled on the ArmorBox
i-Blason model. It does have the built-in screen protector, and the phone fits
snugly in the case. No instructions came telling how to put the phone in the
case, although there is a video on thei-blason.com

web site. All the ports are covered, and the case has held up quite well so
far. I purchased the case from Amazon for about twenty-six dollars including
the shipping, was given tracking information, right down to the fact that I
should check my mailbox for the delivery, but the case may also be had from the
i-Blason site. Here is the link from Amazon:
