Hi Jed,

As I said in my voicemail, what probably has happened, is you turned QuickNav 
off with the press of the left and right arrows together for typing. You have 
to turn it back on in order to interact with the rest of the phone. If this 
isn't the case, try to have the iPad mini forget the device and pare it again.
