It can, because there are choices that determine what is, and what is not, spoken, how far from a crossing it should alert you, and other things I don't recall right off the top of my head because I haven't changed them in so long. But there certainly should be a noticeable difference. I hope this helps.

No offense taken. I'll be sure and go through the settings. I didn't think that would make much difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

Not to offend, but it must be the operator. Be sure to go through all of the settings and adjust as necessary, then try walking or riding in a vehicle again. HTH.

I subscribed to Seeing Eye GPS for one month. So far, I am not very happy with it. When I went on a route with my Owen M instructor, it did not read any of the intersections. It did not describe them. I thought that was supposed to be its strength. Not sure if it's the operator or the GPS.

I am getting ready to move to a new neighborhood and will be having someone help me get familiar with all the stores in the neighborhood. I have used Blind Square GPS for years and really do like it. It’s not perfect, but I figure it is the best thing out there for us. I do find at times the accuracy is off, and was thinking about labeling a bunch of stores that would be useful to me when walking around. I have never used Seeing Eye GPS and do not have it but wads thinking about getting it for a month to see how I like it, as I thought the information the app provides about intersections would be quite beneficial. Has anyone used both of these apps and any thoughts about which is the better one for making a note of different stores in a neighborhood, and how accurate in terms of feet the app is? Any thoughts is appreciated.
