Hi MAria, If you are giving it to someone from the same country, you can do it via apple website or via iTunes store, or appstore.
If you want to purchase giftcards for someone that is overseas, you might need to find some other way to purchase it, like perhaps, find their local e-shopping place that will accept foreign credit/debit card, or paypal account, and purchase it that way.
