Accept you won't find a device with the 64 bit processor that doesn't have the retina display. At least, as far as I know, which is why I say check with others and do your own research into the features you want. In my opinion, there isn't much point in buying a new device with the slower processor as things are going in the direction of putting more and more demands on the processor capability of these devices.
