Well, depends ;) In current upstrem (and Fedora 14) you can mix and match as you like as long as you have a single display only. Multiheading with multiple qxl devices requires spice though, vnc exposes the primary display only. Also older spice deployments are more restrictive. In RHEL-5 spice+qxl depend on each other. In RHEL-6 you can display anything using spice, but rendering qxl on non-spice stops working as soon as the guest loads the qxl drivers.
