So I initially installed VM from the Ubuntu repos on my Neon host. Runs great! However I've ran into an issue where I'd like to upgrade to the latest revision but I'm locked to 1.5.1 in the repos. So I'm looking for the safest method of upgrading a repo version to what's in VM's git? Or should I remove all that I have first then attempt to compile/install from source and try pointing a new guest to the data file from the old?
