I found the results of my tests, and cache=none is indeed
one of the fast ones (writeback was just a smidge faster
than none), writethrough was the dead slow case.

I was seeing how big a file I could write in 10 minutes
and got these results:

writethrough: 312606720
   writeback: 14574551040
        none: 12813860864

Glad to see they changed the default :-).

Anyway, thanks for the info and I'll see how it goes
when my copy of win7 arrives.
