I uploaded a new nightly build that should hopefully fix this problem.
It modifies /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia directly rather than creating a new
/etc/modprobe.d/virtualgl file.  Give it a try whenever you get back and
let me know if it works:

Note that this build also contains the fix for the "binary operator
expected" issue.
