Hi Jason,

Can you please provide the following information:

1. What is the OS you are attempting to compile on (uname -a)

2. What is in the config.log file the configure output below request you check for more details

3. The error seems to suggest a problem with the OpenSSL installation which from our documentation is stated the version should be at least OpenSSL 0.9.7i available from http://www.openssl.org/, so what it the version on your machine (run openssl version to determine this ?

Hi,

I'm trying to get Virtuoso open source edition up and running, but I continue to struggle with the compilation steps. I'm working off of the instructions on the Web site and included in the tarball, and I downloaded the latest release off of Sourceforge. I've pasted the output of my attempt into the bottom of this message in hopes that somebody might have a clue as to where I'm going wrong.

Thanks,
Jason
