While trying to use the Virt_Jena API to connect Virtuoso using JDBC3, I see
that a new Connection is created for each instance of VirtGraph:
virtuoso.jena.driver.VirtGraph (virt_jena.jar):
public VirtGraph(String graphName, String _url, String user, String password) {
[...]
Class.forName("virtuoso.jdbc3.Driver");
connection = DriverManager.getConnection (url, user, password);
[...]
}
And in virtuoso.jdbc3.Driver (virtjdbc3.jar):
public Connection connect(String s, Properties properties) throws
VirtuosoException {
[...]
return new VirtuosoConnection(s, host, Integer.parseInt(port), properties);
[...]
}
Is there's any mean to use a Connection pool ? Or do I missed something ?
virtjdbc3.jar appears to implement PooledConnection but it seems not reachable
with virt_jena ...
