GPF: search.c:1869 internal error
Obviously is something in my instance, it starts correctly with an empty
one. Any idea?
If not.. is it possible to recover the data from the .db file an recover
it intro a new instance?
This sounds like possibly corrupt DB. A few questions:
- How big is the database you have?
- If you compiled this yourself what were the C compiler flags you used
- especially the -O flag - is this the same executable you used last
time you started the DB? - you can check this in the Makeconfig file.
- How big is your transaction log file (virtuoso.trx) - if you back up
the DB files and transaction log and start up without the log
(virtuoso.trx) what happens?
- If you compiled with debug symbols and didn't strip the exe, could you
start it under GDB? I'd love to see the call stack of the GPFing thread.
There is a crash dump - rebuild procedure in case of a corrupt database
- please see http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/backup.html - look for:
6.5.5. Database Recovery
