Hi Alexander,

Geo Spatial is not supported in the open source product it is a commercial 
feature only, hence the error you get. See the following feature matrix for 
comparison between features of  the open source and commercial product:

        http://virtuoso.openlinksw.com/features-comparison-matrix/

So you would need to download the commercial product from the following 
location, where evaluation licenses are available to get this support:

        http://download.openlinksw.com/virtwiz/virtuoso.php

Note you could also instantiate a Virtuoso Amazon EC2 AMI, which uses the 
commercial product and this would provide Geo Spatial support, as detailed in 
the following document:
